By the age of sixteen, I felt a burning hunger inside of me, urging me to pack my bags and explore the world. Everyone else in my family had stayed within a fifty-mile radius throughout their lives. They felt rather terrified at the thought of venturing further, much like the old seafarers, afraid to drop off the edge of the world should they get too close to the horizon. I am not sure why I was the only one of that bunch who couldn’t stop thinking about far-away destinations.
Your have one of the most coveted jobs in the world on the newest show in town. You have the money, the skills, the role that thousands of other performers would kill for and yet, you are standing in the spotlight and you realize that something is missing.
Sydney Brown makes her living by travelling the world and performing on cruise ships. TheatreArtLife caught up with Sydney to ask her for her favourite locations and what are the best and worst parts of her job.
Miss Polly Rae sat down with TheatreArtLife to chat about her life and the steps that lead her into the world of Burlesque. Open and honest, Polly is quite frank about knowing where her talents lie and the need to focus and maximize on those skills to succeed.

In the second part of our TheatreArtLife interview with Miss Polly Rae, Polly shares with us what she is doing today after 10 years of being in the Burlesque scene and following the success of her West End show.
Tara Young has worked as an Artistic Director and Associate on over a dozen Broadway Shows and National Tours. In addition to creating musical productions and working with notable groups such as the New York City Ballet, New York City Opera, LA Opera, the Boston Pops Orchestra, Tara lends her vast experience and knowledge of Broadway by leading workshops and appearing as a guest lecturer. Tara’s skills have also been used with Cirque du Soleil on the Michael Jackson’s “The Immortal World Tour” and Dragone on “The Han Show” in Wuhan, China.
When I came up with the idea for TheatreArtLife, I knew at some point, I would need to expose myself, promote myself and become a face of the brand. After all, having joined forces with Ashley Sutherland-Winch, every step of the core mission behind TheatreArtLife would be a reflection of our beliefs, ideas, and passions.
Working in Zurich’s movie theatres as a student, I especially enjoyed working at Cinema Corso. The eight-hundred-seat movie palace was a remnant of glorious times.
Redundancy in Theatrical Systems: Maintaining the balance.
“Two is one and one is none.” This famous phrase describing redundancy, coined by the United States Navy Seals, was used to remind themselves of the basic concept that having one of something is the same as having nothing; leaving the operation open to failure and putting the military operation or people’s lives in the hand of chance.

He was part of the show’s creation and assisted the performers in the training and development of their scuba requirements for performance. He supported the cast underwater during shows and assisted in the movement of the underwater scenic elements.

Theresa and I have always been animal people. We love animals and they seem to like us back. As a result we have wanted to adopt pretty much every animal we encounter.
