After ten days of rehearsing at head office, it was time to move on board the ship and continue rehearsals in the theatre. It was a very exciting time as this was our first chance to witness the current cast perform the shows that we had been learning.
Believe it or not, I started working on cruise ships by mistake. I attended a dance audition in Paris just because a friend of mine wanted to apply for the position and needed a ride to Paris. At the time I thought, if I’m in Paris already, why not take a free class? Long story short, I got the job as an acrobat a few weeks later.
After working at sea on cruise ships for over 7 years now, I have learned the best ways to juggle my family and friends in my real life back at home in the United Kingdom and my relationships with friends in my ship life out here.
