It’s finally official, Finding Neverland will open in the West End during summer next year. However, this is not the first time that fans have gotten excited at such an announcement. Gary Barlow recently revealed in a podcast interview that the show is currently expected to open on the West End in “summer 2025”. Will fans finally see the show come to London’s theatre district?
From the time a show closes at one venue to the time it opens at another, the logistics of concert tours can baffle even those who have been touring for decades. The take down, transition and instalment of a show can take anywhere from several hours to several days. Some concert tours are the size of small cities, especially when the performer or band is an extremely well known ‘A-Lister’.
Thirty years after its initial premiere on Broadway, Disney has announced a reimagined tour for Beauty and the Beast in North America. Little information is known about the upcoming tour, but it is currently planned to set off on the road in June of 2025. The Chief Creative Officer for Disney Theatrical Group, Thomas Schumacher, made the initial statements regarding the upcoming tour and what can be expected from the newly reimagined show.
