Since the closing of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, it’s no secret that this year is still not stacking up like it was in 2019. Since the doors to the festival reopened in 2022, with a brief soft reopening in 2021, it has become clear just how lacking the large festival is for both artists and industry professionals alike.

Histeria Teatro is a theatre group from Malaga, Spain. Already known for their plays Depurados, Funny Games, La Huella, and Reservoir Dogs, they surprised this year when they presented their latest production Encore at the Edinburg Fringe Festival. Following the successful presentation at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and receiving The Scotsman Fringe First Award, Conspiracy was the first Canadian company invited to join the Battersea Arts Centre’s Collaborative Touring Network, this was a unique opportunity to experience the networks activities from the inside and meet with some of the folks leading arts festivals in the UK rural areas.
