Finding Neverland Will Open In The West End
It’s finally official, Finding Neverland will open in the West End during summer next year. However, this is not the first time that fans have gotten excited at such an announcement. Gary Barlow recently revealed in a podcast interview that the show is currently expected to open on the West End in “summer 2025”. Will fans finally see the show come to London’s theatre district?

Bonnie and Clyde Streaming Next Month
Jeremy Jordan led musical adaptation of Bonnie and Clyde streaming next month on demand! The musical that was filmed live back in 2022 will be available as of 24 June. Several of his original cast members will be joining him in this filmed production and fans are excited to learn that the original leading lady, Frances Mayli McCann, is also set to appear alongside her co-star.

Globally known for multiple roles, it’s no question why they were chosen to present this year’s nominations. The Tony Award is Broadway’s biggest honour to achieve and there are several stellar nominees in the mix who are up for the award.
The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby has officially opened on Broadway in New York City! Featuring Tony nominated actors Jeremy Jordan as the title role and Eva Noblezada as the leading lady Daisy, The Great Gatsby is now open at The Broadway Theatre with ticket sales available until 24 November of this year. Following reviews from the opening night fans may have to say goodbye to Gatsby sooner than anticipated.
Lord of the Rings Will Have US Premiere
The Lord of the Rings will have its US Premiere this summer in Chicago! Titled “The Lord of the Rings- A Musical Tale”, the show will be collaborating with the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. The production is rumoured to have a full cast with ensemble and large-scale puppets to help bring the story to life. After Chita Rivera passed away earlier this year on 30th of January, a petition for renaming a broadway theatre after her has surfaced. The Broadway actress had recently celebrated her 91st birthday when she passed, and was a true Broadway legend during her career. She has long inspired other Latin Americans to pursue dreams of Broadway careers in theatre and if the petition is successful she could very well add another first to her list of accomplishments.

Cyndi Lauper Sells Publishing Catalogue
American singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper sells her publishing catalogue and the majority share of her master recording revenue to Pophouse Entertainment Group. This is the Swedish entertainment company’s first US deal, however Pophouse Entertainment Group have already made a name for themselves through ABBA’s Voyage and the upcoming KISS avatar show.
Tangled Broadway Show
Following a report over actors’ equity votes, The Hollywood Reporter let it slip that a Tangled Broadway show is in the works. Since the accidental slip of the tongue, Disney has confirmed that Tangled is indeed coming to Broadway! While not many details are known about the show, it can be assumed that it will be extremely similar to their show currently on Disney’s Magic cruise ship voyages to the Bahamas.

Back To The Future Opening In Japan
After a successful run on both Broadway and the West End, Back To The Future is opening in Japan in 2025. The musical that is based off of the 1985 film will be showcasing performances at the JR East Shiki Theatre in Takeshiba, Japan as of April, 2025. Tickets for performances will be available to the public later this year in December.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Reimagined Tour
Thirty years after its initial premiere on Broadway, Disney has announced a reimagined tour for Beauty and the Beast in North America. Little information is known about the upcoming tour, but it is currently planned to set off on the road in June of 2025. The Chief Creative Officer for Disney Theatrical Group, Thomas Schumacher, made the initial statements regarding the upcoming tour and what can be expected from the newly reimagined show.

20 Years of Wicked
Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre celebrates 20 years of Wicked performances by rolling out the green carpet and some amazing extras were added to make the performance that much more memorable for those who were lucky enough to witness the anniversary show. The celebration ran for the entire month of October allowing fans the experience of a lifetime. From the time you entered the theatre and were handed your special playbill celebrating the anniversary, to the bows at the end of the show, 20 years of Wicked has not slowed them down, and the entire theatre community expects Wicked to run for a very long time.
