Tangled Broadway Show
Following a report over actors’ equity votes, The Hollywood Reporter let it slip that a Tangled Broadway show is in the works. Since the accidental slip of the tongue, Disney has confirmed that Tangled is indeed coming to Broadway! While not many details are known about the show, it can be assumed that it will be extremely similar to their show currently on Disney’s Magic cruise ship voyages to the Bahamas.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Reimagined Tour
Thirty years after its initial premiere on Broadway, Disney has announced a reimagined tour for Beauty and the Beast in North America. Little information is known about the upcoming tour, but it is currently planned to set off on the road in June of 2025. The Chief Creative Officer for Disney Theatrical Group, Thomas Schumacher, made the initial statements regarding the upcoming tour and what can be expected from the newly reimagined show.
Disney Pop-Up Experience Coming To Covent Garden
Disney Theatrical have made the exciting announcement that they will be hosting an array of fan favourites in London’s Covent Garden this summer. Not only will there be performances, but there will be a range of completely free interactive experiences for visitors, perfect for the school summer holidays. The pop-up experience is timed to coincide with the scheduled removal of restrictions in the UK, which are currently planned to be lifted from 19th July.
