Galway International Arts Festival, Ireland
The Galway International Arts Festival is Ireland’s largest annual arts festival and celebrates it’s 41st anniversary in 2018 from 16th to the 29th July in the city of Galway. Highlights of this years festival are expected to the visit of the acclaimed Australian circus company Backbone by Gravity & Other Myths. Some of the major acts taking to the Festival Big Top include Caribou, Madness, Kodaline, The Stunning, The Flaming Lips, Jenny Greene & The RTE Concert Orchestra, Walking on Cars and Gavin James. Opera fans can look forward to the large-scale production the Irish National Opera’s major new production of Orfeo ed Euridice which will premiere at GIAF 2018.
New York Musical Festival, USA
The 2018 New York Musical Festival (NYMF) kicks off July 9 and runs through August 5. The 15th annual festival features 12 original musical productions, ten musical readings, eight concerts, and three educational programs—all celebrating musical theatre and new work.
