The Winter’s Tale, London, UK
In this latest production of The Winter’s Tale at Shakespeare’s Globe, director Blanche McIntyre takes on the tricky task of guiding the audience from tragedy and despair to comedy and finally a classic fairy tale ending.
The King and I, London, UK
Festooned with awards and five-star reviews, the Broadway production of the classic musical The King and I is coming to London for a 14-week run. This production, the first Broadway revival since 1996, ran for 16 months, won four Tony awards, and then went on a sell-out tour of the US. The West End is lucky to receive this show.
As You Like It, London, UK
Max Webster’s family production of Twelfth Night was a brightly-coloured treat at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre a few years back. Now the director returns with Shakespeare’s forest-set romantic comedy As You Like It – not a kids’ version, but it should be big-hearted and accessible to all. And there’s original music composed by former Noah and the Whale frontman, Charlie Fink. Plan for a fun night out!

Claire Hammond is an accomplished young performer with international credits in Music Theatre, Cabaret, Film and Television. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Claire completed her studies at the University of Ballarat Arts Academy, gaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Her work for the Walt Disney Company has seen her perform in Japan, Canada, the USA, and aboard Disney Cruise Lines, the Bahamas. In Australia, theatre credits include Crazy For You, Sugar!, Anything Goes, Saturday Night, and the recent Australian tour of The Boy From Oz, where she played the role of Karen. Other appearances include singing the National Anthem at the Men's Final of the Australian Open, performing live on Dancing With the Stars, Carols by Candlelight, and countless corporate events. Recently Claire was part of the Australian cast of Wicked: The Musical, understudying and performing the role of Glinda on many occasions on tour throughout Australia, Singapore and Korea. Setting her sights worldwide, currently based in Hong Kong and Macau, Claire is pleased to be working as a freelance performer, voice actor, commercial artist, and educator.
