How did you get started in your career?
I first started dance lessons when I was five years old. As soon as I did my first performance on a stage and felt the spotlight – I was hooked! I knew I was destined to have a career in theatre!
What is the best role/job/gig have you done and why?
My current job is absolutely amazing, I am the casting manager and choreographer of Life Like Touring and we take shows literally all over the world. I’ve been fortunate to work in so many incredible countries such as USA, London’s West End, Russia, Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Asia, Middle East- the list goes on!
It’s an absolute privilege to do what I do. Performing wise I really loved being in We Will Rock You, it was an incredible experience performing eight shows a week for twenty-one months. I also loved the TV guest roles I was lucky enough to perform too!
What was the worst task you were given when you were starting out?
I’ve been pretty lucky, I never really had bad tasks to do in the beginning. I was thrown straight into casting and choreography which I loved!
What do you think you are best at?
I’m very much a people person so I love training up casts and crews for each new production. I’ve also learnt how to juggle multiple tours at one time!
What do other people think you are best at?
I’d like to think they also agree that I’m a people person and good at putting productions together!
What advice would you give your 18-year old self?
Not to worry so much – hard work, perseverance and passion will pay off eventually!
What is your job now?
Casting Manager and Choreographer of Life Like Touring and loving every second!
