Basel just held the 13th edition of the Young Stage Festival this month. In the six competition shows in the Event Hall of Messe Basel, 30 young professional artists showed their top performances to win one of the coveted prizes. On 24th May, there was great excitement when the jury awarded the prizes and awards to the young artists.
Young Stage in Basel, Switzerland is a career springboard for the participating artists.
Here they have the opportunity to present themselves and their acts to the public as well as to experts, agents, scouts, and show producers from all over the world.
On 24th May 2022, the international jury awarded the coveted prizes in the presence of international show stars and event celebrities from Germany and abroad.

Young Stage is the largest circus festival in Switzerland.
It is one of the most important circus festivals in the world and one of the top events in the Swiss event calendar.
The festival has made a name for itself with the world-class performances of the young artists, the state-of-the-art stage show, the highly professional organization and the heart and soul that goes into the festival – both nationally and internationally.
The organization’s mission is to offer very talented young artists from all over the world a platform and a job exchange. To promote and present contemporary circus in general, to enable networking, and to inspire young people.
The festival’s gala show with awards ceremony is also implemented as a national TV format every year.
The recorded program is broadcast on SAT1 (Switzerland), SRF-Swiss Radio and Television, Telebasel, and other stations.
The festival consists of various events and projects, some of which also take place during the year.
