Award Winning Choreographer, Performer and Creative Director Sophie Duncan is currently UK based. Before COVID shook the world, was was a solo pole artist with Cirque Du Soleil and Dance Captain. She was also Dance Captain for the new show ‘Destiny’ – a collaboration between Scenoplus Productions and MGM in Macau where she previously lived between 2012-2015 performing as a dancer and house troupe at “The House Of Dancing Water”. Whilst there, she produced LODDO, a cabaret style charity even raising 30,000HKD for The Samaritans HK. The year and a half between then and now, she worked in many fields throughout Europe, as a dancer with Cirque Du Soleils ‘Scalada Vision’ in Andorra, as a choreographer on award winning show ‘Columbinus’ in Romania and she launched a Youth Dance Program, NGDance, with ballet master Joshua Ecob in Nottingham (NGDance.org). Since graduating from London Contemporary Dance School with a BA in Contemporary Dance, she has choreographed four large scale theatre productions, two short plays, and assisted original musical ‘EPIDEMIC’ at the Old Vic Tunnels. She creates short dance and circus films and plans to produce more work while living in Asia.
