Matthew A Wilson (he/him) is an Emmy-award winning host, TED Speaker, university instructor and former medical clown writing about culture and the future of work. His multimedia career spanned stages and screens around the world and included collaborations with artistic luminaries like Elizabeth Swados, James Lapine, Pope L., Regina José Galindo, Sesame Street and Britney Spears. He’s a staunch advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and entertainment industry professionals navigating career transitions.
After completing his graduate degree in Performance Studies from NYU he formed a tactical arts consultancy to help organizations make work meaningful for their employees by integrating high-quality arts practices into their day-to-day operations. He also designs joy. Matthew is currently developing a tool at the intersection of healthcare, technology and the arts to improve patient and provider experiences with telemedicine.
Fun Fact: He garnered viral internet acclaim for officiating New York City’s first “window wedding” in the age of social distancing, featured in The Advocate.
