Karen More had an eighteen-year career as a professional dancer touring nationally and internationally with modern dance companies and musical productions including the Lar Lubovitch Company, Elisa Monte Dance, Philadanco, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She was a founding creative team member of A Broader Way and the Dominican Dream/Mixed Me Project. Karen is a graduate of the Aspire Teacher Residency, a rigorous one-year program in which she earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and multiple subject teaching credential. She holds her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Laughing Lotus and 95-hour children’s yoga and mindfulness certification from Little Flower Yoga. Karen was a classroom teacher for five years, teaching kindergarten and pre-kindergarten. She has taught dance in schools across New York City with the National Dance Institute. Karen currently resides in Los Angeles where she has founded a dance and mindfulness program, grades K-4.
