The Six Foot Creation (SFC) Foundation aims to combine art and performance with taking responsibility for our planet and taking concrete action. In the second half of February 2023, their first event, the Chimera Gala will take place in a thus far non-disclosed location. Part of this event will be the act, Chimera. One of a kind and not to be missed!
The SFC Foundation as well as Six Foot Creations were founded by Cecilia Arnould Rachner, Brandon Birchak, and Melissa James.
The foundation is a wonderfully idealistic endeavor, combining competence and expertise in entertainment production with the aim and a concrete plan to make a real difference around the globe.
On their website the Six Foot Creations Foundation states their mission as follows:
To fund actionable events in the following capacities:
· For the benefit of the environment, global ecology, and to fight climate change
· For the promotion of human rights and activism for social justice
· For the visual and performing arts in the form of projects which support the creative economy of artists.
The overall aim is to effect change through impassioning, unique performances which benefit and fund projects for a healthier planet and a more equitable world.
The SFC Foundation has recently partnered up with:
This organization has planted 40 million trees in over 43 countries since 2014. And partnered up with the SFC Foundation because they were looking for a special project to help protect Life.
Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide a habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from our atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
Together, the SFC Foundation and One Tree Planted, will bring you an exclusive event at a thus far non-disclosed location in the second half of February 2023.
Specifically, this event will be a charity gala, called the Chimera Gala, with the strong aim to help save the Southern Resident Orcas.

It is the first event of – as Cecilia Arnould Rachner hopes – many, which will take place on a regular basis in the years to come.
This first event will feature breath-hold diver and performer Brandon Birchak, and performer Melissa James in a first of its kind, inspiring and thought-provoking, breath-taking – or rather breath-holding – act, called Chimera.
With their act, Brandon and Melissa want to defy the limitations of human capabilities to help raise awareness regarding the impact of deforestation and ocean pollution on the orcas, our planet, and our planet’s entire ecosystem.
Six Foot Creations says about Chimera:
“In curating the most extraordinary, exclusive, and unique of ecosystems, we welcome the very first blooms of 7-years research and development. Made possible through the remarkable work of countless physicians and researchers, visionaries in science, ballet, flight, and movement. This marvel of extreme convergence stands as a new lighthouse in the very nomenclature of art and science, theatre, and performance.”

More details will follow soon, as we at TheatreArtLife are greatly looking forward to hearing news about this wonderful project. We will update you, our dear readers, as the countdown to the Chimera Gala unfolds. Watch this space!
