Musical Con, The West End’s first ever musical theatre fan convention is coming to London and is brand new for 2022. The entire musical theatre community is coming together under one roof for the first time for a weekend-long celebration of all things musical at ExCel London this October.
About Musical Con
The debut Musical Con is jam packed full of events and things to do. Dubbed as being “for the fans”, the weekend offers competitions for attendees including “Cosplay”, “Star of Musical Con”, and “Lip Sync”, as well as opportunities to:
Meet the Stars
Enjoy performances, meet and greets, photo and signing ops and epic cast reunions. Get all the backstage goss and be the first to know with interviews, Q & A’s, discussion panels and show spotlights.
Celebrate the Shows
Come and celebrate with Cosplay, fan meets, lip-sync battles and sing-alongs. Enjoy some “instaworthy” photo opportunities and discover exclusive merchandise and ticketing offers.
Learn from the Pros
Discover a huge selection of workshops, masterclasses and talks run by industry professionals. Learn about getting into musical theatre and network with schools and colleges. There’s even a chance to perform on the main stage!

MAIN STAGE
The Main Stage is the beating heart of Con! See unique performances, cast reunions and get all the backstage goss with show spotlights, important talks led by an all-star panel, Q&As, interviews and games. Don’t miss our iCONic opening and closing ceremonies!
BACK STAGE
The Back Stage is the place for more intimate conversations including panels about the issues affecting the industry and talks from leading creatives.
WORKSHOPS & MASTERCLASSES
Take a singing masterclass with Alice Fearn or a dance workshop with Layton Williams! At Musical Con you will get the chance to learn from your favourite pros! All dance Workshops are £10 and vocal and acting Masterclasses are £15 and are subject to availability. VIP and Priority ticket holders receive a booking link via email in advance of general release. To attend you will need a Musical Con ticket for the appropriate day and are required to book your session in advance. On the day arrive at the workshop or masterclass 15 mins before the start time with your ticket and wear comfortable clothing and footwear.

STAGE DOOR EXPERIENCES
Have you ever waited at stage door to get your favourite star to autograph your programme only to find you have missed them? Or maybe you’ve dreamed of getting the perfect photo with your stage fave? At Musical Con, you can enjoy autograph or photo experiences at our very own Stage Door!
Photo and autograph experiences will be available to pre-book on a first come first served basis and will be released to VIP and Priority ticket holders first.

Tickets
There are a variety of ticket options available, with a day pass for a single day’s access priced at £45, the full weekend pass at £79.
Priority passes cost £89 and include priority access to book autographs, photo opportunities and workshops. The most expensive VIP pass is £195, and includes access to the VIP main stage viewing area, VIP access to book autographs, photo opportunities and workshops, VIP lanyard and goody bag, plus a Musical Con T-shirt.
Sponsor or Exhibit
There are also opportunities for arts and entertainment professionals to sponsor or exhibit at the event, with full details available on the official website.
