There are tonnes of great apps available to put on your smartphone, particularly ones developed to take care of your mental health. Here are 5 apps to support Mental Health & Wellbeing that we at the Arts Wellbeing Collective think are great to try.
1. MoodKit
MoodKit’s activities, along with their accompanying examples and tips, provide specific ways to apply psychological doctrines and systems known to reduce negative feelings and promote wellbeing.
2. ReachOut Breathe
ReachOut Breathe helps you reduce the physical symptoms of stress and anxiety by slowing down your breathing and your heart rate with your iPhone or Apple Watch.
3. ReachOut WorryTime
ReachOut WorryTime is a free mobile app that gives you a place to store your worries, and alerts you when it’s time to think about them. When a worry no longer matters to you, you can ditch it and move on.
4. Smiling Mind
Smiling Mind is modern meditation, a unique web and app-based program developed by psychologists and educators to help bring balance to people’s lives.
5. Buddhify
Buddhify features over 200 meditations to help overcome life’s challenges including anxiety, stress, sleep, pain and difficult emotions.
