Back To The Future: The Musical originally opened in early 2020 at the Manchester Opera House. Even after the pandemic, the musical returned and opened on London’s West End later in 2021. Not long after receiving several great reviews from critics, the musical transferred to Broadway in New York in the late summer of 2023. Since then, the musical has continued to have great reviews both on the West End and Broadway so for it to be going global is not surprising.

Back To The Future: The Musical features songs from the original movie including ‘Back In Time’, ‘Johnny B. Goode’, and of course ‘The Power of Love’. The musical has an original score written by Glen Ballard, the composer for Ghost, and Alan Silvestri, the movie’s original composer himself. The script for the show was originally written by Bob Gale, the co-writer for the film version with the Director Robert Zemeckis.

“And the time machine “DeLorean” galloping right in front of your eyes. The car body has been precisely reproduced down to the smallest detail, making it look like it just jumped out of a movie! The powerful time travel scenes, which combine stage equipment, video, lighting, and sound, will give you an unprecedented sense of speed and immersion, just like an attraction .”
