You can keep on keeping on doing what you are doing right now. You are already here. You have arrived at this place in space and time and it was you who got yourself here.
There may have been external factors in play, and obstacles that you’ve had to overcome, but at the end of the day it is you that has made a series of decisions that led you to where you are in your life right now. And, depending on what lens you are looking through at this moment, what you do next is determined by how you choose to look at things right now.
Think about it. What factors played into you being at this point of your life right now?
How Did You Get Here?
But let’s step away from the big existential question for a minute and simply look at this small moment in time right now that we’re sharing together.
Take a moment to breathe and center yourself. With eyes open or closed if you are able, just continue breathing as you scan your body. Notice any tension you are feeling and simply breathe into that area and let it go.
Let me ask you something. Why are you listening right now? Was it planned? Is it because you always do it? Did you stumble upon it and get curious or maybe someone told you you should check it out. Think about it: What was it that led you to being here in this moment right now?
Whatever your reason, you have arrived here and chosen to be here listening, you also have a choice to stop listening to me.
You can simply turn off your phone, close the book, shut down the computer. Go ahead and try it. Push pause on this track and just listen to what thoughts flood into your brain. I’ll be here when you return, and I hope that you do but if you decide not to, it’s entirely up to you. So when I say go push pause for 30 seconds and just pay attention to your thoughts. 5..4..3..2..1 GO.
What did you notice? Thoughts, when we allow ourselves the space to think and rethink them offer us endless choices about how we want to consider them.
If you’re content with things staying the way they are right now, then say no more I am happy for you. You can keep on doing things the way you’ve always done them. You already know how. You’ve done it before so you can do it again
So I encourage you to stop for a moment to consider your why. And lead yourself consciously into the infinite life that only you can create.
