1. Are you a minimalist or a hoarder Stage Manager?

Minimalist.

2. What do you always have with you on stage?

Leatherman (Multi-tool).

3. What’s in your kit?

Drill with lots of bits, Bolt Gun, Glue, Several Tape Measures, LX Tape (Different colours), Scissors, Different new batteries, Scale Ruler, Pencil Case (Everything in it!), Soldering Pen, Screwdriver set & much much more.

4. Mac or PC?

MacBook Air all the way!

5. What’s in your pencil case?

Lots of Pens & Pencils, Rubber, Ruler, Scale Ruler, Various Highlighters, Black/White LX Tape, Scissors, Stapler, Hole Punch.

6. Favourite colour highlighter

Orange.

7. Favourite pencil

Stage Management Pencil inscribed.

8. What may be surprising that you don’t use?

Bolt gun for decking. It’s not used nearly enough for what I’d have expected it to be.

9. Coffee or Tea?

Tea, two sugars, milk – Strong!

10. Favourite Genre to work in

Opera.

In a world such as ours, Hard work will get you through the door, but passion & drive will keep you there. Even when you’ve hit your target of where you want to be in your career, continue to learn and adapt to your different environments because you can never know enough in our ever changing industry.
