November 2018

United Solo Theatre Festival, New York, USA

The 9th annual United  Solo Theatre Festival is an annual international festival for solo performances held in New York City. Through a variety of one-person shows, the Festival explores and celebrates the uniqueness of the individual. Productions from renowned solo performers as well as new talents are presented at the highly acclaimed Theatre Row in the heart of the New York City theatre district on 42nd Street.

The Rocky Horror Show, Stratford Festival, Canada

As part of the famous Stratford Festival, cult classic musical The Rocky Horror Show has extended its season until November 25. Be prepared to time warp and laugh your way through this hit show!

Beetlejuice the Musical, Washington D.C., USA

It’s showtime, folks! Beetlejuice is ruder, raunchier and frankly, more repellent than ever in this original musical based on Tim Burton’s wonderfully demented film. It’s true – great theatre IS dead! See for yourself at BEETLEJUICE, now playing at the National Theatre, prior to a Broadway season.

Romeo and Juliet, London, UK

The Royal Shakespeare Company present the Bard’s most famous story, brimming with intense passion and an irresistible desire for change, and ending all too quickly in devastating consequences. RSC Deputy Artistic Director Erica Whyman is back at the Barbican following her acclaimed production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2016. The professional cast are joined by young people from RSC Associate Schools in London who will perform as part of the chorus.

School of Rock, Melbourne, Australia

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway hit will rock Melbourne this November! Based on the iconic, hit movie, this irresistible new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a supply teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping mind-blowing rock band. It’s fun for the whole family!

Macbeth, London, UK

This winter, Shakespeare’s Globe explores stories from the past, the ghosts of then, and the storytellers from yesteryear, and simultaneously, collectively, create the ghosts of ‘tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow’. See Macbeth from November 7 this year.
