Our licensed clinicians help industry professionals and their families deal with and provide ongoing support services for issues like work and personal stress, anxiety, depression and life transitions.
Our social workers can provide:
- Evaluation and referrals
- Short-term treatment
- Crisis intervention
- Advocacy and connections to community treatment resources
Referrals are made to a wide network of providers familiar with industry issues and psychotherapists who accept commonly used health plan networks. Many offer sliding-scale fee schedules, convenient locations and specialty treatments. Financial assistance may be available to help with the cost of treatment.
For individuals living with psychiatric disabilities, The Fund helps to locate:
- Supportive housing
- Day treatment
- Vocational rehabilitation
- Psychiatric care
- Medication management and other resources in the community
Any performing arts or entertainment professional may call on our Mental Health services for support, information or referrals to community agencies.
Eligibility for financial assistance requires an application, documentation of your professional earnings and an interview and in general is based on:
- A minimum of five years of industry paid employment with earnings of at least $6,500 for three out of the last five years, or
- Twenty years of industry paid employment with a minimum of ten years of earnings of at least $5,000 for each of those years, and
- Financial need
