BAPAM is a specialist healthcare charity supporting individuals & organisations in the performing arts. We provide free clinical services, expert training, essential resources and clinical leadership

We are a vital part of the UK creative industry’s infrastructure, improving health in the performing arts through the provision of:

CLINICAL SERVICES
Expert vocation-specific clinical assessments and preventative health care delivered in BAPAM clinics around the UK, plus signposting to high quality services through the BAPAM Directory

CLINICAL STANDARDS
Leadership and development of clinical standards for healthcare in the arts, and professional development for clinicians and healthcare practitioners in performing arts medicine

PARTNERSHIP
Clinical partner to the sector, working with educators, unions, businesses, and support organisations, including those commissioning or providing healthcare services to advise on best practice

EDUCATION
Evidence-based healthy practice training to professionals and students in the performing arts

RESEARCH
Partnering with academic institutions and medical researchers to contribute to research which supports developing understanding of the health of performing artists and effective clinical practice with this population
