Antonio Silva joins us to talk all things Globe Riding and Circus. Born in Brazil, Antonio has been working as a Globe Rider for over 12 years, and has performed all over the world as a Circus Performer.

Ian Van Cleve is a stunt performer who has worked all over the world in the last ten years. He is currently the writer and director for a widely successful Chinese stunt show, Project Blue Sky, which is in its fifth year. Starting out as an actor and singer in college, Ian found himself recruited for stunt work early on, which led to the start of his interesting and varied career.

Episode 43 – Acting with Julianne Buescher

In this episode, we are joined by all-round actor, puppeteer and voice actor, Julianne Buescher. A classically trained actor, Julianne has worked across film, TV, theatre, musicals, commercials, and she works across a wide range of genres from comedy and drama to improv. Julianne performs and puppeteers many Muppet characters, as well as a range of other well-known favourites.

Episode 55 – Dance and competitions with Jill Wolins

In this episode, we are joined by Jill Wolins, talking all about the world of dance. Jill started her career early, competing from the age of 9 before undertaking her studies and graduating as a dance major. Jill began working at Disney Orlando, spent 10 years as a New York Radio City Rockette, dancing on Broadway and undertaking national tours, as well as performing in TV and film, and teaching around the world. Jill is an accomplished author, and we are pleased to have her on the TheatreArtLife contributor team.

In this episode we are joined by Franz Harary talking all things magic. Franz is both a performer and illusion designer, and is known for his arena shows. He pioneered bringing magic to the world of live concert productions, first for Michael Jackson, and later for artists wanting to reproduce impressive visual effects in their live shows.

Episode 63 – Circus history with Ottavio and Naomi Gesmundo

In this episode we are joined by husband and wife performers Ottavio and Naomi Gesmundo talking all things circus and entertainment. Ottavio hails from six generations of circus performers, and has a vast performing history as Mr G across many disciplines, and he is the co-author of The Grand Gypsy book with his grandfather, who was a revered circus performer.

In this episode we are joined by Martin Pons, talking all things acting. Martin is a clown and mime originally from Argentina. He has worked all over Latin America and Europe, and alternates his multimedia projects with his work in Dubai. Martin talks to us about his fascinating career.

In this episode, we are joined by Melissa Colello talking all things trapeze and aerial choreography. Melissa is well-known for her dance/trapeze act, and has toured as an aerialist for many circus and entertainment companies and she has also choreographed all around the world, accumulating over 25 years experience. She talks to us all about her fascinating career.
