Billy Porter speaks from the heart in an exclusive interview at EPIC. As an outspoken activist since his early days in theatre and working on Broadway, Porter’s rise to stardom has offered him an even bigger platform to share his views on race, politics, gender equality, and more.
Art and artists can change the world with their work, but also with their voice and actions outside of performances. Lisa Dawn Cave, Broadway stage manager and production supervisor of Frozen, chats with Billy about his art: music, fashion, film, television, theatre, his activism, and the intersection between them. His journey is fascinating, and this interview alone is the reason to attend EPIC.
