Now Melbourne based after many years in Macau, Rex is the incoming Deputy Stage Manager on the Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Other stage management credits include Leviathan (Circa Contemporary Circus), The House of Dancing Water (DML), The Phantom of the Opera (Really Useful Group), The Importance of Being Earnest – Australian and USA tours (Ridiculusmus), and Oedipus and The Venetian Twins (Qld Theatre). While in Macau, Rex stage and event managed numerous events in Hong Kong for Orient Unlimited and Imagine Believe. Rex spent two years as Tour Producer for arTour, managing regional Queensland touring and is passionate about the significance of the arts to remote and regional communities in Australia. A committed advocate for the future of our industry, Rex is a sessional lecturer and mentor for production students at QUT Creative Industries.
