International Stage Management Interview Series: Wright Burnett-Smith

In this international stage management interview, Wright Burnett-Smith shares what it is like to manage the SM team at Michael Jackson ONE, his interview tips and strategies and how he trains his show callers on one of the most technical shows in the world.

Wright Burnett-Smith has spent the last 13 years working with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas on their productions of KÀ, Criss Angel BeLIEve, The Beatles LOVE and Michael Jackson ONE. Prior to joining Cirque, Wright was a member of the Stage Management Teams on Le Rêve, Celine Dion: A New Day and Stomp Out Loud. In addition to Las Vegas productions, Wright has worked with Boston Ballet as well as several regional theatres in Boston as well as Dallas. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory.
